The School of Pharmacy at The University of Queensland invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy. This is a teaching and research position that offers the successful candidate the opportunity to contribute to our academic community.
About this OpportunityThis position is available on a continuing basis, commencing January 2025. We welcome applications from individuals with expertise in clinical pharmacy who can demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and service engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching: Develop and deliver courses, engage in curriculum design, coordinate courses, assess students, and provide academic counselling.
- Research: Establish a research program, collaborate on research projects, participate in project discussions, seek and manage research funding, and publish in reputable journals.
- Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise students, recruit and manage employees, provide performance feedback, mentoring, and training, and resolve conflicts.
- Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, engage in internal and external service roles and committees, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.
This opportunity is being offered at Academic Level B or C, commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience, in accordance with the University's salary structure.
Salary and BenefitsThe base salary for this position will range from $110,365 to $155,246 per annum, plus 17% Superannuation. In addition to the salary, you will have access to world-class facilities and equipment, grant writing support, greater research funding opportunities, and other forms of staff support and development.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, excellent teaching and research skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A PhD in a relevant field is preferred, but not essential.
Applicants should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to contributing to the academic mission of The University of Queensland.
