About the Role

We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our Stones Corner team, working in a disability and neurological community setting. This role involves conducting assessments, prescribing equipment, and providing exercise recommendations to support participants' health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough assessments of participants' neurological, psychosocial, and physical abilities
  • Prescribing and referring equipment as needed, ensuring proper education for participants and their families
  • Developing and implementing personalized exercise plans to improve cardiovascular fitness, balance, and overall health
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicating effectively with Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, and other professionals to facilitate therapy and progress
About You
  • You have tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology and relevant registrations (ESSA)
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You embody Better Rehab's values, including making a positive difference in people's lives
  • You have your own car and a valid driver's license, with the ability to travel within the area
