About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Ozcare. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized care and support to clients in line with their individual care plans
  • Assist clients in developing skills to promote their independence
  • Provide personal care services, including showering, dressing, and other daily activities
  • Support clients with their medication requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to provide holistic care and support
Requirements
  • Current Police Screening Certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Home and Community Care
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
  • Current Queensland driver's license
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B, Varicella (Chicken Pox), and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
  • Good computer and mobile device skills
