Lead Clinical Specialist

Sonova offers a rewarding opportunity for an experienced clinician to take on a leadership role within our team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Clinical Specialist to provide guidance, support, and coaching to clinicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to enhance clinical skills, assessing and diagnosing hearing loss using various techniques, and recommending solutions to individuals with hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to clinicians to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Assess and diagnose hearing loss using audiometric tests and other diagnostic tools.
  • Recommend evidence-based solutions to individuals with hearing impairments, including amplification devices, implantable devices, and assistive listening devices.
  • Collaborate with professional bodies, educational institutions, and industry partners to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in audiology.

Requirements:

  • University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification.
  • Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud.
  • Current QP number or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Proven expertise in audiological assessment and diagnosis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
