About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients on our Fitzroy campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive physiotherapy management to patients in a subacute healthcare setting
  • Assess, plan, and treat patients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal and neurological disorders
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet individual patient needs
  • Serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for students, Allied Health Assistants, and junior staff members
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Recent experience working in a subacute healthcare setting, preferably in a rehabilitation environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement
