About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Support Expert to join our Government business unit at BAE Systems Digital Intelligence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the protection of nations by managing and maintaining the reliability, performance, and availability of our services.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer issues and requests through effective incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Performing basic engineering activities, such as upgrades and configuration requests, while referring complex technical matters to subject matter experts when necessary.
  • Ensuring best practice ITIL principles are followed throughout all service management processes.
Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop a strong business and technical skill set, including building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and implement recovery action plans when service delivery is not meeting expectations.
  • Communicate effectively across organisational boundaries, from engineers to senior managers.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in use and management of Service Management tools such as Sostenuto.
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies, such as Prince2, LCM, and Agile.
  • Familiarity with Unix Servers and operating systems, Oracle services, CISCO, Juniper services and devices, VOIP services and devices, and End User Compute (laptops).
