Assistant Educator Job Description">

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Educator to join our team at the Snow Gum Early Childhood Learning Centre in Kambah.

This is a dynamic and exciting role that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children. As an Assistant Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing your room and creating flexible routines that cater to the needs of each child
  • Providing creative learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Having extensive knowledge of the EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework) and NQF (National Quality Framework)
  • Working in compliance with regulations to meet high standards
  • Being proactive in implementing a high-quality educational curriculum

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
  • Minimum 12 months experience in an early childhood setting (advantageous)
  • Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People card
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead a classroom environment
  • Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF
