Job Opportunity

The Assistant Principal will play a pivotal role in supporting the school's educational leadership team, providing guidance and expertise in curriculum development, student learning, and staff professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate curriculum across the school, ensuring alignment with state educational policies and frameworks.
  • Allocate resources and positions of responsibility within the designated area of authority.
  • Oversee the delivery of teaching programs, ensuring high-quality instruction and assessment.
  • Manage programs to enhance staff knowledge and experience, promoting ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to the overall management of the school, participating in policy formulation and decision-making processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated expertise in educational technology, including assistive technology for students with diverse learning needs, learning management systems, and digital content platforms.
  2. Ability to effectively integrate technology into the classroom, particularly in special education settings.
  3. Experience with data-driven instruction and assessment using technology tools.
  4. Expertise in problem-solving and critical thinking to identify and address challenges related to technology implementation.
  5. Understanding of emerging technologies and their potential impact on student learning.
  6. Commitment to using learning technologies to improve teaching and learning, including the use of Artificial Intelligence.
  7. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with parents and the community.
  8. Outstanding financial, organisational, and resource management skills.
