Job Overview

This role is part of our team that ensures the quality and reliability of ISO containers at our Western Australia depot. As a key member of our production team, you will operate equipment to meet customer requirements according to our production plan.

  • You will perform general mechanical maintenance on ISO tanks, including basic fitting or welding.
  • ISO tank cleaning, which involves pressure cleaning, steam cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing.
  • Repairing product imperfections by making adjustments according to your experience within your area of competence and responsibility, following equipment operating procedures.
  • Loading and unloading of ISO tanks from delivery trucks.
  • Ensuring Quality control, including cleanliness inspections, odour detection, and leak detection as well as statutory testing.
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards in the work area, equipment, and tools to provide a safe and effective work environment.
Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • Experience working in and on ISO containers & ISO tanks.
  • A good understanding of ITCO standards.
  • A mechanical aptitude with an inquisitive mindset.
  • The ability to follow instructions and comply with operational procedures.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry qualifications.
  • Brief welding skills.
  • Experience using industrial high-pressure cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of hand-tools and painting equipment.
  • Accreditation or knowledge of ITCO Standards (highly regarded).
  • Forklift Ticket (highly regarded).
  • Previous experience as a Fabricator, Mechanical Fitter, or Boilermaker on industrial or mine sites (highly regarded).
