Part Time Laundry Assistant Role Available

We are currently seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Regis Woodlands. This role will assist the home in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety.

This is an opportunity to work part time in a supportive team environment.

A day in the life of a Laundry Assistant may see you:

  • Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift
  • Work as part of a team to help others and demonstrate a team spirit
  • Complete reporting and documentation based on Regis policy and procedure
  • Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful and positive manner

About you:

  • You have previous experience in a laundry capacity or commercial laundry
  • You have previous cleaning experience in a commercial, healthcare or Aged Care environment
  • You have solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals
  • You have previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
  • You have clear communication skills both written and verbally
