This is a key position within the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia, responsible for providing leadership and guidance on track access planning and coordination for METRONET projects accessing the PTA operating railway.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, highly organized, and able to proactively support METRONET projects in gaining access to the PTA Rail Corridor while adhering to safety and procedural requirements.
About YouTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- Substantial experience in planning and coordination of track access on the PTA network;
- The ability to advise external stakeholders on safeworking solutions appropriate to project work being completed;
- The ability to lead and coach a small team of Track Access Planners.

This is a fixed-term opportunity available to cover extended leave for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency. The successful applicant will be required to start in November 2024, but will need to be available from late October 2024 for training/handover.
Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies on a fixed-term basis that may arise within the next 12 months.
To be eligible to work at the PTA, you must be either an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident or hold a valid work visa until at least 30 November 2025.
