Are you a coffee connoisseur with exceptional leadership skills? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Barista/Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our café.

As a Head Barista/Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our team of baristas, managing inventory, maintaining the café's cleanliness and ambiance, and ensuring the highest quality of coffee and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coffee Preparation and Service:
    • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages to the highest standard.
    • Ensure consistency in coffee quality and presentation.
    • Maintain knowledge of current coffee trends and techniques.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Build relationships with regular customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Inventory and Stock Management:
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary.
    • Ensure proper storage and rotation of stock to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Cafe Operations:
    • Maintain standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends.
  • A passion for coffee and a commitment to quality.
