Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced case manager to join our Residential Services team in the Loddon Region, Bendigo. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children residing in Residential Care, working closely with government and non-government stakeholders, clients, families, and other networks.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality case management services, including developing safety and support plans, intervening in crisis situations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary package starting at around $94,000 per annum, plus superannuation. You will also have access to salary packaging benefits up to $15,900, as well as an entertainment card.

The successful candidate will work across the Loddon Region, reporting directly to the Senior Team Leader of Residential Services. This is an exceptional opportunity for professional growth and development, with access to training and development programs alongside the Residential Services Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality case management services to children residing in Residential Care, working closely with government and non-government stakeholders, clients, families, and other networks.
  • To develop and implement individualized safety and support plans, addressing the complex needs of each young person.
  • To intervene in crisis situations, using effective communication and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and promote positive outcomes.
  • To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Residential Service Staff, DFFH Case Management, and external stakeholders, to achieve optimal outcomes for each young person.
  • To maintain accurate and comprehensive records, utilizing DFFH Service systems CRIS.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, youth work, or equivalent (Diploma Level Qualifications).
  • Significant experience in case management settings, with a strong understanding of the complexities of working with vulnerable populations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A strong commitment to providing quality care and a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams.
