Our growing Private Business Tax & Advisory team is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team as a Senior Associate.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our clients in meeting their accounting and tax compliance requirements, including preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored accounting and tax advisory services.
- Collaborate with a broad range of clients, from small to medium-sized enterprises to large companies, to provide accounting and tax advisory work that supports their business.
- Assist with accounting and tax advisory work, including financial statement preparation, tax planning, and compliance.
- Build a foundation of trust and competency with clients through exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
- Provide developmental support to team members through coaching and mentoring opportunities as required.
- CA qualification
- Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment and be adaptable to work across multiple managers
- Experience in the use of Xero accounting software will be highly regarded
