Transportation Specialist Job Description

As a Transportation Specialist, you will play an essential role in ensuring our high-quality products are delivered safely and efficiently to customers across the country.

About the Role
  • Safely operate and maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
  • Secure all items on the vehicle before travel, ensuring safe transportation to customer sites.
  • Follow all required hygiene and sanitation procedures to maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness.
  • Complete all required paperwork and check sheets on time, ensuring accuracy.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized branch environment through good housekeeping practices.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices and follow all safety protocols.
  • Maintain driver diary and supporting paperwork in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle, ensuring products are handled with care.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery instructions and provide updates as needed.
Requirements
  • A current driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in transportation, with a commitment to high standards of service.
  • Knowledge and commitment to workplace health and safety practices, including safe manual handling of heavy loads. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a great work ethic.
