Financial Accounting Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial accounting functions, preparing management information and working closely with the Financial Controller.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will work on various aspects of financial accounting, planning, budgeting and project management, supporting daily operations and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review pension scheme reports and accounts.
  • Manage scheme cashflow reports, supervising and developing junior colleagues.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure smooth completion of year-end audits.
  • Produce and review monthly P&L reports and quarterly VAT returns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent organisational and time management skills, confident communication skills and stakeholder management abilities. You must be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and audit processes.
