About This Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential services to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and live safely.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • General housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping to ensure clients have nutritious meals available.
  • Providing social support and transportation to community activities and appointments.
  • Supporting family carers by giving them a break and opportunities to engage in other activities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Able to work independently and build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable adults to maintain their independence.
  • Basic cooking skills and ability to follow recipes.
  • Australian Driver's Licence and access to an insured, roadworthy vehicle.
  • At least 3 months of experience in a similar role or relevant qualification.
