Technology Consultant, Power

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technology Consultant to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of our electrical power solutions group, you will work closely with customers to design and implement innovative solutions for their projects.

Your technical expertise will be invaluable in bringing customers' visions to life. You will collaborate with customer engineering and production teams to develop RA electrical power solutions, providing specifications for RA electrical power solutions to customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customer engineering and production teams to develop RA electrical power solutions
  • Provide specifications for RA electrical power solutions to customers
  • Serve as the technical product expert and focal point for electrical power solutions in Western Australia
  • Facilitate product-based training for the sales team and channel
  • Define and explain product differentiators and values versus competition
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and marketing activities to showcase product expertise
  • Support market access for Distributors and Systems Integrators to promote RA products
  • Assist Business Lead in launching new products to the sales team and channel
  • Validate and resolve compatibility issues of products within architectural solutions
  • Seek out training opportunities to develop technical skills
  • Provide product gap and development feedback to the appropriate team
  • Understand business models, organization, and go-to-market strategy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical related field or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the Mining industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of Variable Speed Drives, Motor Control Center, and Switchboard solutions
