Primary Health Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Health Care Professional to join our team and provide high-quality healthcare services to the community.

About the Role

This role involves providing clinical services, including general medical practice, emergency care, and community health. You will be responsible for advancing the health of clients through effective care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services to advance the health of clients, including general medical practice, emergency care, and community health.
  • Contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of primary health programs and services.
  • Develop and maintain clinical policies and best practices in primary health care.
  • Implement EPC items, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health checks, as part of routine planned care.
  • Participate in case planning conferences to ensure client care is planned and managed effectively.
Requirements:
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and current vaccination against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough), and hepatitis B.
  • Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Possession of a current CPR certificate or commitment to obtain within the first six weeks of employment.
  • Current Queensland "CA" class driver's licence.
