The Role:

We are seeking a Casual Cleaning Team Member to join our team at the University of Sunshine Coast – Sippy Downs campus.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with commercial or retail cleaning experience to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be well-presented, proactive and able to work independently
  • Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience is preferred, with on-the-job training provided
  • Understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques is essential
  • Cleaning Machinery experience, including scrubbing, buffing and car park sweeping, is preferred
  • Good knowledge of and commitment to safe working practices
  • Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and able to walk for lengthy periods
  • Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and public holidays
  • Valid work rights in Australia
