About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Retail Area Manager to lead our Salvos Stores team on the Gold Coast. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies to improve customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Development
    • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Store Managers and staff to achieve business objectives
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge to succeed
  • Customer Experience
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
    • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided across all stores
  • Business Growth and Development
    • Develop and implement business plans to drive sales growth and profitability
    • Monitor and analyze business performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure all stores are operating efficiently and effectively, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
    • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in retail leadership and management, with a strong track record of driving business growth and improving customer experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
