Job Description:- We are currently seeking a Critical Care Specialist to join our Intensive Care Unit, with full-time and part-time positions available.
- In this role, you will work as part of a close-knit team caring for critically ill patients requiring advanced acute care.
Our ICU is a fast-paced environment that handles complex cases, supporting our busy Emergency Department, 19 Operating Theatres, and Surgical and Medical wards. Shifts are 12 hours on a rotating roster, with no on-call or after-hours requirements, and 24/7 medical support is always available.
Key Responsibilities:- Care for critically ill patients requiring advanced acute care.
- Work as part of a close-knit team dedicated to meeting every aspect of patient needs.
- Participate in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.
- Current AHPRA registration as an RN.
- A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience within a critical care setting.
- Strong time management skills and experience working within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Available to work a full-time rotating roster of 12 hour shifts.
