Data Center IT Operations Technicians are essential to the successful operation of our global data centers. They work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, and security experts to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for technology and enjoy working in fast-paced environments. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting infrastructure that supports the AWS cloud, working closely with logistics and other teams to maintain daily operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs.
- Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage, and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts.
- Remediation or recovery of physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events.
- Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off including night shifts on a rotational basis).
- This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment using our lifting equipment.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and their own vehicle to travel between sites.
- 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
