We are seeking a skilled Employment Consultant to join our team and make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals with mental health conditions.


This is a unique opportunity to work within an evidence-based service, providing tailored support to empower participants to achieve their employment goals.


The successful candidate will manage a caseload of participants with mental health disability, delivering services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering services that empower participants to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Supporting participants through every step of their journey, from vocational profiling to job search, placement, and post-placement support.
  • Building strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Collaborating with NDIS and community providers to ensure wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
  • Monitoring outcomes and contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery.

Requirements
  • A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification (Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field).
  • Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with participants, their supports, and employers.
  • Business development skills and local employer connections (highly regarded).
  • Current driver's licence and your own vehicle.
  • Ability to obtain all required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).
