Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Personal Care Worker to join our team at Churches of Christ, Warwick Aged Care Service. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and physical support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Participate in the development and review of resident care plans, ensuring individual needs are met
  • Complete charting and report any observed changes to resident health to the Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse
  • Maintain resident dignity and privacy, ensuring confidentiality in all interactions
  • Support and assist in providing a comfortable, safe, and secure environment
  • Undertake tasks as delegated by Registered/Enrolled Nurse

Requirements

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (Qualified Applicants)
  • 12 months practical working experience after obtaining Cert III Individual Support or Cert IV Aged Care
  • Current National Police and NDIS Screening or ability to obtain
