Marine Mammal Care Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Marine Mammal Care Specialist.

About the Role:

This role involves working with marine mammals, ensuring their welfare and providing engaging experiences for guests. Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with animal care and husbandry duties, including feeding, cleaning, and providing enrichment activities.
• Delivering exceptional guest experiences through interactive presentations and behind-the-scenes tours.
• Maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and safety, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Experience in an animal care role, preferably in a zoo or aquarium setting.
• A passion for marine life, sustainability, and conservation.
• Flexibility, ability to cope with frequent changes to daily routine and workloads.
• The ability to take initiative, work unsupervised, assess tasks, and set priorities.
• A current NSW Working with Children Check and Full NSW Driver's License.
