We are seeking a qualified and dedicated teacher to join our team at St John's College, Woodlawn.

About the Role

This temporary, full-time position will commence on 31 January 2025 and will involve teaching Mathematics and PDHPE (Stage 6) and Junior Science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Mathematics and PDHPE (Stage 6) and Junior Science to students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic excellence
Requirements
  • Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • Have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • Qualifications in a specialised faculty
  • Ability to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers
  • EMU Training an advantage
