About the Role

Right at Home is seeking a qualified and experienced Personal Care Worker to join our team in the Drummoyne area. As a Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

You will need to have a minimum of 1 year experience working with complex clients and behaviours, as well as a valid driver's license and car. Immediate start is available, and you will be required to work extra shifts as needed.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build strong relationships with our clients and their families. You will also have a caring and compassionate approach, with the ability to provide physical and emotional support as required.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, and able to work independently. If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Transporting clients to appointments and outings
  • Providing companionship and social interaction
  • Monitoring client safety and well-being

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working with complex clients and behaviours
  • Valid driver's license and car
  • First Aid Certification
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Certificate
  • Degree in Health Science or related field (not essential)

Language:

  • Italian, Vietnamese, Greek, and Arabic language (Required)
