General Hand Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our dynamic team on the Central Coast.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking on a wide range of responsibilities.

Job Summary:

The General Hand will play a vital role in maintaining our commercial clients' sites, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.

The successful candidate will have a high level of physical fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain a wide variety of sites, including general cleaning, vacuuming, bathrooms/toilets, mopping, dusting, laundry, and washing walls/windows.
  • Perform light domestic duties as required.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve operational and financial goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A high level of physical fitness to meet the manual handling and environmental requirements of the position.
  • Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively as a team member.
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to assess when to escalate issues.
  • Basic understanding of WHS requirements and possession of a valid White Card.
  • Hold a current driver's licence and be willing to undergo a Police Check.
