As we seek an experienced software engineer to join our team, the right candidate will possess a strong passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

With a focus on delivering high-quality products, this role involves designing solutions that meet customer needs and developing maintainable code as part of a large enterprise cloud product.

Key responsibilities include undertaking application development and maintenance within the framework of the system development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring associated design planning and development documentation is undertaken.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in C# and technologies such as OData, Entity Framework, and Azure services.

Additionally, experience with unit testing, peer review code changes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams is highly valued.

  • Design and implement scalable software applications using modern software engineering practices
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, UX designers, QA, DevOps, business analysts, and product managers to deliver user stories
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality software through agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)

This role requires a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a desire to contribute not just code but suggestions and innovations towards building a globally reaching first-class SaaS product.

As a key member of our technology solutions team, you will be responsible for implementing functionality from data access, business logic, and API using C#, and technologies such as OData, and Entity Framework based on high-level design prototypes and acceptance criteria.

You will also be expected to develop unit tests as part of every piece of work and write object-oriented and maintainable code.

Finally, you will collaborate closely with frontend developers, UX designers, QA, DevOps, business analysts, and product managers to complete user stories.

And assist with knowledge sharing and presentation work to stakeholders at sprint reviews and code review sessions.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Azure services, including pipelines, releases, and cloud services
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies
