About this role
We are seeking a Defence Support Mentor to provide support to Defence students and their families. This part-time role will involve living out your faith in a Christian school community with an attitude of support, care and excellence.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to their Christian faith.
- Assist new students and their families to integrate into the school and local community;
- Monitor the social and emotional wellbeing of Defence students;

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs and resources to address issues and needs;
- Record student support delivered using the Schools Student Information System;
- Support students to integrate and connect in the playground and with peers;
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, flexibility and ability to work with colleagues;
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
