The role of a Systems Administrator is pivotal in supporting the Social Services Regulator towards data-driven decision making and operational service delivery.

Key to this effort is the management, maintenance, and security of SSR's core regulatory systems and infrastructure.

We seek an individual with exceptional communication skills who can identify and analyze business needs and offer solutions appropriate to individual roles and levels of technical understanding.

Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, servers, software, and databases as well as implementing and managing security protocols.

  • Identify and troubleshoot server-related hardware and software malfunctions
  • Maintain documentation, policies, instructions, operational procedures, and system logs
  • Conduct surveys of the current ICT infrastructure to determine future network needs

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with IDAM and security authentication and management
  • Experience in supporting and administering business systems
  • Understanding of configuration and service level management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Accountabilities Include:

  • Supporting DevOps practices and collaborating with developers
  • Providing advice and input on data and systems issues
  • Handling diverse requests requiring strategic advice or quality assurance
