About the Role:

As a Journals Lead, you will play a vital part in maintaining the day-to-day publication of product updates and overall management of our journals offerings. You will work closely with other teams to ensure a high level of content quality using knowledge of editorial workflows and tools to ensure the overall currency of the products within your remit.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the editorial team to ensure quality, currency, timeliness, and productivity.
  • Assisting with clearing roadblocks and improving editorial processes for Journals.
  • Delivering quality content to customers, adhering to the publication schedule for all formats for each product in the portfolio.
  • Managing contracts for General Editors, Headnoters and Authors.
  • Producing annual product reviews and managing competitor comparisons.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree qualification in field of Law, Business, Finance or similar.
  • Prior legal practice, legal industry, and/or publishing experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated first-hand experience performing legal research strongly preferred.
  • Sound working knowledge of periodical publishing workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Understanding and awareness of the legal industry and services market is desirable.
  • Ability to handle multi-projects with strong project management skills.
