Job Title: Associate Director Quality

About the Position

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of quality systems to ensure high-quality care for our patients. This role involves oversight of adverse patient safety events management, clinical governance support, and leadership of committees that promote quality and safety.

This is a permanent full-time position within the Quality Department at 80 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in building high-functioning teams and driving quality improvement initiatives.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of adverse patient safety events management and Victorian Hospital Incident Management System (VHIMS) governance
  • Leadership and support of committees that promote quality and safety
  • Clinical governance support for critical care and ambulatory care divisions
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated leadership at a senior level within a tertiary healthcare setting
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a related field, preferably at Masters level
  • Relevant industry experience and proven ability in building high-functioning teams
  • Excellent communication, preparation of reports, and presentation skills
