About the Role

This role offers a unique blend of financial expertise and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for offering expert financial guidance and support to schools within the Trust, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across various functions, conducting thorough financial analyses to support decision-making processes, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert financial guidance and support to schools within the Trust
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various functions
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses to support decision-making processes
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
Requirements
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or part-qualified
  • AAT Qualified
  • Prior experience in a similar finance role within the education sector is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships cross-functionally
  • Demonstrable financial analysis capabilities
  • Must possess a valid driver's licence and have access to a vehicle for travel to various schools within the Trust
