About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Lead to join our Customer Fulfillment Operations team in Perth. As a Site Lead, you will be responsible for delivering inspiring, supportive leadership for the teams you manage, while also rolling up your sleeves and getting involved whenever necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Operations Managers and their direct reports, motivating and inspiring them to do their best work.
  • Plan schedules and activities that balance the needs of the team with those of the business.
  • Lead on numerous process improvement projects, streamlining activities for yourself and the team members you manage.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards within your remit area, promoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on-site.
  • Responsible for the overall safety, quality, and performance of either Inbound or Outbound operations.
  • Manage timely data collection, updating operations metrics on an hourly basis.
  • Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to enable the functional area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan.
  • Achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measuring performance, providing feedback, and holding Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.
  • Work closely with other support teams on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levels.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar, innovative logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in leading large, diverse teams.
  • Experience in employee and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage details, establish and carry out root cause analysis, and then extract and analyze the data generated.
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary.
