High-Level Clinical Role in Mental Health

We are seeking a senior psychologist to conduct complex clinical/neuropsychological assessments and provide therapy interventions to consumers impacted by acute mental health problems.

This is a high-level role that requires valid and reliable evidence-based decision making, with the ability to provide reference points for other clinicians.

You will be working within a multidisciplinary team in the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service, providing support to consumers and their families through high-quality, evidence-based care.

  • Undertake high-level clinical/neuropsychological assessments and brief interventions beyond routine practice levels.
  • Collaborate with consumers, families, carers, and service providers to achieve identified consumer outcomes.
  • Provide clinical supervision to less experienced psychologists and students on postgraduate placement, aligning with PsyBA guidelines.
  • Invest in service development, contributing to improved service provision and consumer outcomes.

Requirements include general registration or eligibility with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases.
