Elevator Installation Specialist

We're looking for multiple Mechanical Fitters to join a high-performing New Building Solution team in Melbourne, Victoria.
No two days are the same as you manage the equipment installation of elevator products, across low-rise housing through to the world's tallest skyscrapers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the full installation of new elevators, escalators, and auto walks from commencement to commissioning.
- Manage the equipment installation environment during installation activities.
- Communicate with customers on-site for day-to-day installation and logistical activities.
- Report installation progress to the installation supervisor.
- Carry out all activities in accordance with policies and procedures, including health, quality, and safety standards.
- Install according to pre-determined method instructions and schedule.
Requirements:
- Three or more years of mechanical experience; lift industry experience preferred.
- A Certificate 3 in mechanical fitting/fabrication engineering is desired.
- Trade tickets are desired – dogging, advanced rigging.
- A motivated and self-starter who can manage workload and competing priorities.
- A commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful installation of our products. You will be responsible for managing the equipment installation environment and communicating with customers on-site. You will also report installation progress to the installation supervisor and carry out all activities in accordance with policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need three or more years of mechanical experience and a Certificate 3 in mechanical fitting/fabrication engineering. You will also require trade tickets in dogging and advanced rigging, and excellent communication skills.
