About the Opportunity
- Support the development of commercial contracts for a leading renewable energy business, including EPC contracts, supply and install contracts, balance of plant contracts, PPAs/offtake agreements, connection agreements, and O&M agreements.
- Advise on land acquisitions, planning approvals, and general commercial matters, including NDAs, consultancy agreements, services agreements, and disputes.
- Manage external counsel to achieve business objectives.
- Provide regulatory advice on FIRB, Australian Financial Services Licences, and Critical Infrastructure.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, such as developing precedent contracts, adopting new processes, and delivering training to the team.
What Qualifications Do We Look For?
- Admitted as a lawyer in Australia.
- Practising experience as a projects or energy lawyer for 4-8 years in private practice or in-house.
- Strong understanding of energy or infrastructure transactions in Australia.
- Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving, commercial, and communication skills.
- Thrives in dynamic and evolving environments.
