Job Description

The Nursery Operations Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating operational tasks, including relocating and arranging plants for retail, receiving and distributing horticultural products, and maintaining gardening tools and equipment.
  • Providing horticultural advice to other nursery staff, including supported employees.
  • Facilitating on-the-job guidance and mentoring for trainees and new or casual employees.

This role requires strong organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

You will work closely with our supported employee participants under the guidance of our Enterprise Team Leader.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a multi-faceted nursery.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate operational tasks and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • NDIS Worker Check.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • NSW Drivers Licence.
  • Horticulture (or related field) qualifications preferred.

We encourage applicants who have experience working in the disability sector, using Microsoft Office tools, and providing customer service.
