About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team in Sydney. As an Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and security of financial operations in a Treasury environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Treasury specific testing requirements utilizing skills in ETL/SQL, Control M, Agile, and Banking experience.
  • Experience in ETL testing, writing complex SQL Queries, and generating reports.
  • Technical SQL skillset with ability to troubleshoot and deep dive into SQL Stored procedures.
  • Well-versed with Treasury Technology architecture and comfortable working in technologies like Control-M, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Experience in managing the complete test life cycle, including preparation of test strategy, test plan, test cases, and test completion report.

The successful candidate will be able to satisfy the following criteria:

  • Detailed testing accountabilities in IRRMU, THS, and CMS.
  • Working closely with other BQA leads and contributing to portfolio-level testing initiatives.
  • Managing testing results by coaching, counselling, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Automating business regression testing.
  • Upskilling business knowledge in the testing team and ensuring this knowledge is applied in impact/risk assessments and test cases.
  • Improving testing tools to allow automated comparisons of the User Interface objects and supporting data layers in Qlik.

This contract is available for an initial 6-month term with an extension of 6 months. Located in Sydney, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
