Master Data Manager Gepps Cross Position

Job Description

We are seeking a senior data management professional to lead the establishment and operation of a Master Data Management function within our organisation. This role will oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing management of master data across various domains including customer, product, and supplier information.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for the MDM function, as well as collaborating with key stakeholders to align master data requirements with enterprise-wide initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of our data strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MDM principles, data lifecycle management, and data quality frameworks, as well as excellent communication and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the MDM strategy, framework, and roadmap tailored to our business needs.
  • Establish governance structures, policies, and standards for managing master data across domains.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align master data requirements with enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Lead the selection and deployment of MDM tools and technologies.
  • Build and mentor a team of data stewards and analysts to support ongoing MDM operations.
  • Drive data quality initiatives, including profiling, cleansing, and validation.
  • Ensure integration and consistency of master data across systems and platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of MDM principles, data lifecycle management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable data strategies.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
