Inventory Control Specialist

About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team at Hamilton Island Enterprises.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our vehicle maintenance and repair workshop by effectively managing inventory, interpreting parts needs, and maintaining efficient communication with suppliers and internal teams.
">This is a pivotal role that requires a proactive and organized individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain management.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular stock counts, manage inventory variances, and ensure all parts are properly issued to the Workshop team.">
- Liaise with suppliers for competitive quotes and timely procurement of high-quality parts and materials.">
- Accurately interpret vehicle parts requirements for repairs and maintenance tasks.">
- Manage goods receiving, ensuring quality and accuracy, and maintain a well-organized inventory.">
- Support the workshop's productivity by minimizing downtime and ensuring the availability of necessary parts.">
- Maintain strong communication with both internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.">
- Report regularly to the Purchasing and Expediting Manager on inventory levels, procurement activities, and any operational challenges.">
- Manual handling tasks including: Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, standing, walking and repetitive movements.">

">Around AUD 60,000-AUD75,000
