Job Description:

CareDx is a leading precision medicine solutions company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of clinically differentiated, high-value healthcare solutions for transplant patients and caregivers.

The company offers products, testing services, and digital healthcare solutions along the pre- and post-transplant patient journey, and is the leading provider of genomics-based information for transplant patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive software and digital projects to completion, collaborating with project leads and teams.
  • Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive project plans.
  • Determine resource needs and work with functional managers and FP&A on resource planning.
  • Organize project team meetings, set agendas, issue minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Facilitate scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and stakeholder demos.
  • Manage design control documentation as needed.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and opportunities to timeline, budget, and scope.
  • Track project performance against baseline and SMART metrics.
  • Facilitate and lead design reviews and phase gate reviews.
  • Produce clear, concise, and professionally written communications and presentations.
  • Foster strong cross-functional communication and decision-making across internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide regular updates and ensure alignment on timeline, budget, and scope across the core team, stakeholders, and executive leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in managing software development projects in life sciences or a related field.
  • Experience with mobile and web applications.
  • Experience with managing IT projects a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including story splitting, sprint velocity tracking, and backlog refinement within Agile.
  • Certified Scrum Master, Agile certification, or PMP certification a plus.
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., FDA, CLIA, ISO 13485) a plus.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project) and creating Gantt charts and project dashboards.
  • Comfortable interacting with leaders at all levels and influencing without authority.
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills; negotiation skills a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to details.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Able to manage multiple complex, cross-functional projects concurrently.
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
