Northern Beaches Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility located in Frenchs Forest, just 13 kilometers north of Sydney's CBD. As a contemporary 488-bed hospital, it provides a wide range of health services to the local community, including surgery, emergency care, intensive care, birthing, pediatrics, cardiology, mental health, dialysis, and cancer care.

The hospital features 13 operating theaters, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theater, two catheter laboratories, and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit with two intensive care wards.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Ward 6D, an adult general medical ward with 30 beds. The ward provides care for patients with a range of medical conditions, including geriatrics, renal, endocrine, and neurological disorders.

As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and other relevant information
