Job Title:

Allied Health Support Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our dynamic team as a Allied Health Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality support services to customers with various needs, including aged care, disability, health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of individual and group intervention under the direction of an Allied Health Clinician.
  • Monitor customer treatment plans and collaborate with clinicians to notify of progress, concerns and/or need for review.
  • Support customers presenting with a wide range of needs in collaboration with Allied Health Clinicians.
  • Provide instruction, supervision and education to customers and support workers as required.
  • Assist in the preparation for programs and supervision of participants under the direction of the Allied Health Clinician.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Basic Life Support qualifications.
  • Current Driver's Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
  • NDIS and Working with Children Screening Clearance.
