Job Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to join the team at Creative Scotland as a Site Admin Assistant. Based in our accreditation pod, you will play a pivotal part in supporting event staff during events.

You will manage and maintain accurate records of venue and event equipment, lost property, and prohibited items. This includes collecting and collating data from various venue teams and providing feedback to your line manager.

Your duties will also include assisting with the printing of additional accreditation passes, conducting accreditation checks, and completing lost accreditation pass statements.

You will work closely with the Operations Assistant and be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy accreditation unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the distribution and recovery of event equipment.
  • Conduct accreditation checks of staff and contractors.
  • Complete lost accreditation pass statements and submit to Event Team.
  • Maintain a register of all equipment distributed, identifying any missing equipment on a nightly basis for follow-up.
  • Ensure that all equipment is accounted for at the end of the event, and flag to your line manager any missing equipment.
  • Manage stock control of event items, ensuring adequate stock levels are always maintained.
  • Manage incoming lost property and prohibited items in accordance with procedural requirements.
  • Support individuals who are required to complete incident reports.
  • Input timesheet data on behalf of Supervisors.
  • Follow security and safety procedures.
  • Liaise and work alongside the Operations Assistant.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy accreditation unit.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with excellent administration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately record information.

You should be proficient in all Microsoft packages and have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

A positive attitude and approachable nature are essential for this role.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience of working in events in accreditation or similar roles.
