Clinical Neuropsychologist

The ORS Psychology team is expanding, and we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our national team. As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will have the opportunity to develop and deepen your clinical expertise in a supportive environment.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments to characterise cognitive function in individuals with a wide range of disabilities. This includes assessing cognitive impairments, providing diagnoses where applicable, completing decision-making capacity assessments, and evaluating school-readiness.

We utilise evidence-based recommendations and cognitive strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Our team works closely together, sharing knowledge and expertise to provide high-quality services.

Experience in autism assessments is desirable, but training and support can also be provided. We welcome applications from registered psychologists who are enrolled or looking to enrol in an Area of Practice Endorsement (AoPE) Registrar Program for Clinical Neuropsychology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of cognitive function in individuals with a wide range of disabilities
• Provide diagnoses where applicable, including intellectual developmental disorders, specific learning disorders, ASD, ADHD, etc.
• Complete decision-making capacity assessments for financial and lifestyle purposes
• Evaluate school-readiness and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Neuropsychology, including current registration with AHPRA
• A car and a licence
• A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
