About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Advisor to oversee site operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in remote locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing permits, conducting risk and compliance inspections, and developing best practices for site operations.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage the collection and recording of site data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate the acquisition of necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions to ensure site operations are safe and compliant.
- Analyse data to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement, providing recommendations for process enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices for site operations and compliance management.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential risks and compliance issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in site compliance, safety management, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent organisational and data management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough inspections and identify potential risks.
