Business Development Opportunity
Role Overview:
- The ANU College of Health and Medicine is a world-renowned institution dedicated to advancing knowledge and improving health outcomes.
- We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Business Development Officer, focusing on the School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP).
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our research-intensive institution. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and funding streams that align with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including academics, researchers, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and funding streams.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing partners to ensure long-term engagement and growth.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on business development initiatives and partnerships.
- Contribute to the development of business cases, proposals, and other documentation to support business development efforts.
Benefits include: A competitive salary package and 17% superannuation contributions. This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for two years. The ANU values diversity and inclusion and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to those of all backgrounds and identities.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the higher education sector, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in business development or a related field.
You must also have a degree in a relevant field and significant experience in business development or a related field. Experience working in a university environment would be highly regarded.
